Environmental, Health and Safety
Ankara CCPP is an “environment-friendly” plant. Baymina produces energy in a high efficiency combined cycle gas turbine plant. Air emissions of Ankara CCPP are minimized with the use of Dry Low NOx (DLN) burners on the gas turbines. This technology enables full control of stack gas emissions by controlling the combustion dynamics of natural gas in gas turbines. Noise emission from the Plant is kept at minimum by utilizing modern design and by selecting “low-noise” equipment in the Plant.
Baymina has a principle to protect the health of our staff, our subcontractors and partners by adopting the Environmental Policy and Health and Safety Policy, besides the environment friendly technology used at the Plant. Continually improving health and safety at work with preventive measures and improvements has been a top priority at Baymina.
Baymina is committed to GDF SUEZ’s policy of zero tolerance in accident and in polluting. This target has been achieved successfully by using the tools; training, action plans, application, monitoring and auditing.
